However, she becomes distracted when handsome Niall Keating starts to woo her. What Pen doesn't know is that he is faking his love on orders of his sorceress mother. What starts as a fake, he starts to fall in love with her and stops acting on his mother's orders. When Pen finds out, however, can she forgive him for deceiving her? And will she be able to stop Niall's mother's evil plan? It was not as good as the first book in my opinion but, then, the second book rarely is. I would give it a 7 1/2.
For Parents: This book has some sexual references so I would recommend it for ages 13+
